CYCLUS TOOLS impact tool for inserting the star nut for forks with steerer tubes of 1", 1 1/8" and 1.5". This CYCLUS TOOLS impact tool ensures precise and straight positioning of the star fangled nut of the headset series inside the fork steerer tube, with a predefined insertion depth for 1" and 1 1/8" Aheadset types.

Screw the required bushing (1", 1 1/8", 1.5") by hand into the Cyclus impact tool. Then, screw the star nut to be inserted all the way onto the central threaded pin of the tool. This operation is facilitated by the side access hole on the tool. Place the tool onto the fork steerer tube and strike it straight down with a hammer. A change in the sound of the hammer impact will be noticed when the star nut is fully inserted. Finally, remove the impact tool from the fork steerer tube by unscrewing it counterclockwise.

Note: To be used exclusively for steel and aluminum fork steerer tubes. Carbon fiber fork steerer tubes require a threaded insert.
