CYCLUS TOOLS – Tool for tapping and facing bottom bracket shells with T47 thread

The cutting and facing tool from Cyclus Tools for T-47 thread is a professional tool specifically designed for re-tapping the bottom bracket thread and facing the bottom bracket shell. After re-tapping the thread, the cutting tool is disengaged and the facing cutter is used for the shoulder surface. There is no need to re-clamp the tool, ensuring 100% parallel facing of the bottom bracket shell shoulder surfaces.

The new dimension in bottom bracket assembly: T47. It combines the advantages of BSA threading with large-volume bottom bracket shells, with a diameter of 46 mm, such as PressFit 30, BBRIGHT PressFit, 386EVO, OSBB. Thanks to this facing tool, existing shells can be equipped with a flat faced surface. In this way, similarly to BSA, the bearing cups can be screwed in professionally as usual.

Note: The letters or marks applied to the tool always refer to the tool itself. For example, if there is an ''R'' on one side, it is a standard thread with a right-hand rotation direction – clockwise. If there is an ''L'', the rotation direction is left-hand – counterclockwise. It does not refer to the side of application on the bicycle, as there is no fixed reference system in this context.
