CYCLUS TOOLS sprocket removal tool 21-42 t. - for disassembling cassettes and sprockets
With the Chain Whip 2.0 Sprocket Wrench, all cassettes and freehub sprockets with 21-42 teeth can be easily held in place during disassembly.
How it works
The 2.0 wrench is applied to the cassette from above or below. By not using a chain, the wrench does not slip sideways. This allows the wrench to absorb high torque and transfer it to the sprocket. Then, loosen the lock ring as usual with a suitable removal tool.
Note: The sprocket wrench can also be used for Campagnolo Ekar cassettes. To do so, use sprockets with more than 25 teeth.
