With this internal reamer, it is possible to prepare head tubes with an internal diameter of 49 mm for mounting a classic headset (with external cups). The new S.H.I.S. (Standardized Headset Identification System) allows precise identification of the correct reamer for each application. This system consists of: headset type and corresponding head tube internal diameter (e.g., EC 34).
The abbreviation EC (External Cup) indicates the classic headset, ZS (Zero Stack) the semi-integrated headset, while IS (Integrated Standard) refers to the integrated headset.
