Operation
The brake disc to be tested must be clean so as not to affect the test result. Place the measuring probes of the caliper on the braking surface. Ensure they are approximately at a right angle to the brake disc. Do not test near holes or slots. Press the probe all the way in and read the remaining wear margin on the scale. Perform the check at several points to ensure the accuracy of the result. The caliper indicates how much remaining wear margin your brake disc has (displayed in 0.1 mm increments). The ''STOP'' position indicates that the brake disc must be replaced.
