CYCLUS TOOLS T47 standard bottom bracket shell taps, replacement pair for item 720151. The T47 system combines the advantages of BSA with large-volume internal bearing shells, with diameters of 46 mm, such as PressFit 30, BBRIGHT PressFit, 386EVO, and OSBB. With these taps, it is possible to create internal threads in the bearing shell, thus allowing, similarly to BSA, to mount the bottom bracket cups in the traditional way. Proper operation is guaranteed only for use on metal. Pay attention to glued or laminated metal bushings, as they are subject to high torsional forces. Furthermore, not all frames are suitable for this conversion: for this reason, please consult the frame manufacturer. Note: item 720151 is also required for proper tool operation.
