- Size: 255x153 mm Proxim W400 is the latest addition to the Proxim range, making it ideal for both e-bikes and muscle-powered bikes, for off-road use but also for commuting/leisure thanks to its dimensions and padding (Multi Sector System). Proxim W400 is available in two widths: 153mm (for a more sporty use) and 163mm (for more trekking and leisure use); thanks to its reduced length (255mm), contact points and pressure peaks in the perineal area are decreased. The key points of Proxim are:
- MSS – Multi Sector System: this system features different mapped and separated zones on the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and separate single-cell padding. The "islands" work autonomously, adapting to all the positions a cyclist can assume during pedaling.
- OPTIMIZED NOSE: wider and tilted downwards
- ACTIVE BASE SYSTEM: a cutting-edge system that involves using a base with a hole, benefiting from excellent pressure relief, greater pressure distribution thanks to a larger contact surface, and protecting the cyclist against water/mud during the most critical weather conditions.
- NEW FOAMS: the new, softer, and increased foams used on the W400 guarantee a high level of comfort, allowing the cyclist to spend long rides seated in the saddle (1cm thickness for the 153mm version; 1.7cm thickness for the 163mm version)
- REAR HANDLE and REFLECTIVE GRAPHICS: The saddle is equipped with a rear "handle" to facilitate moving the bicycle, as well as graphics with reflective materials to improve safety.
